James Jackson
MESci, CEnvP
James is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in construction, earthworks, and contaminated land management. After beginning his career in the UK, he has spent more than a decade working across New Zealand on land development and civil projects, supporting contractors, developers, and regulators with clear, practical environmental advice.
James brings a hands-on approach that aligns environmental requirements with the realities of civil and geotechnical engineering. His understanding of how contaminated land and environmental considerations interact with earthworks design enables him to identify cost-effective strategies, reduce development risk, and support smarter project decisions.
Max Nightingale-McMahon
PhD, CEnvP
Holding a PhD in Environmental Science, Max brings a strong technical foundation paired with a practical, results-driven mindset. He is a dedicated professional committed to becoming a leader in New Zealand’s soil protection and waste sector.
He has extensive experience in planning, managing, and reporting on environmental projects across New Zealand, with a particular focus on contamination assessment, remediation, and sustainable land management solutions. Passionate about driving innovation and sustainable solutions, Max is focused on tackling New Zealand’s environmental challenges with expertise and forward-thinking approaches.
Natasha Nightingale-McMahon
PMEG, BA(Hons) Geology
Natasha is an environmental practitioner with over seven years of experience spanning environmental science and hydrogeology. She has worked with multidisciplinary teams on projects across New Zealand, developing expertise in contaminated land investigations, groundwater assessments, dewatering assessments of effects, and consent monitoring.
She combines technical rigour with a hands-on approach and a strong respect for the whenua she works with. Natasha helps strengthen Springline’s environmental capability and is motivated by a desire to deliver high-quality, science-based, and workable outcomes for our clients and communities.
