Springline provided contaminated land and soil management support for the Seaview Villas development, comprising 74 townhouses in New Brighton.

Initial site characterisation identified soil disposal as a significant project cost. Springline used targeted testing during earthworks to refine the soil management approach, progressively characterise material and identify more practical reuse and disposal options as site conditions were exposed.

Working closely with the contractor, we developed practical soil reuse and disposal pathways, separated material streams during excavation, and provided ongoing earthworks support. This approach enabled more soil to be managed appropriately on site or directed to lower-cost disposal pathways, reducing unnecessary disposal costs while maintaining environmental compliance.
